Because of ill health Mr. Peedin heads west in a Model-T Ford on May 12, 1914. Though the destination was originally Denver, he eventually settled with Mrs. Peedin in Sheridan, Wyoming. The book chronicles the trip through Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. Mr. Peedin and his brother-in-law “struggled along roads that were not even mapped, through hair-raising adventures until they reached their goal.”
